Mission & Vision

The Mandeville Seventh-day Adventist church is a great place to meet God and build lasting friendships. Come worship with us!

Who we are

Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible as the only source of our beliefs. We consider our movement to be the result of the Protestant conviction Sola Scriptura—the Bible as the only standard of faith and practice for Christians.

Mission statement

To seek, reach and transform members of our communities into committed disciples of Christ.

Vision statement

Every member in active faithful Christian service ready for Christ’s imminent return.

Core values

Evangelism is our passion

As a church we are passionate about using every Christ-centered means and method to engage, win and disciple new converts.

Christ-centered worship is our commitment

We strive to make our worship services opportunities to lift up our hearts to God, to express our love for Him and to hear His word proclaimed. We celebrate our relationship with God. We value variety in worship music from traditional to contemporary. Our worship services will exemplify prayer as our spiritual lifeline.

Stewardship and discipleship are our priority

We strive to be responsible stewards of the spiritual and material gifts and talents God has given to us by nurturing those gifts and talents and by employing them in meaningful ministry. We intentionally seek to bring people to spiritual maturity in Christ Jesus through a process of loving God and loving others, knowing Jesus and making Him known.

Youth empowerment makes the difference

We are committed to focusing on the strengths of our youth to create support and opportunities for their development and optimization of their full potential, thereby preparing the future leaders of our church.

Excellence is a way of life

We strive to pursue functional excellence as an integral part of all things that we do to honour and serve our God.
